Richmond Treasures

After Chris and I ran the Raider Rock 5K, we headed to Richmond for some fun filled adventures in Carytown Burgers. I had the best Garden Veggie Burger ever.

We sat outside since the weather was perfect. We were admiring the burgerrific atmosphere.

A freshly zipped tied Woody on a truck.

We walked around Cary Street and saw FUR, non profit organization in saving dogs from the shelters. I placed my contribution in a cup to save these small critters.

After we walked around the area, we headed of the Science Museum of Virginia and saw this box turtle poking his head out in his baby pool.

A self portait of myself in seeing myself in every angle possible. I look good.

30 Americans

Spring Break back at Virginia Beach, VA is kicking to a good start. I had a chance to go to the 30 American opening at the Chrysler Museum this weekend. What an exciting event with Post Black Art, music, drinks, and food. Some of the artwork was shocking and struck many people to talk about the work.

As always, we are the last to leave at events.

Just Got Pickled.

Bagel Street Deli not only has amazing bagel sandwiches that are a mouthful, they also throw intresting festivals in naming their bagels on the menu. The deli was packed with people trying to see down a narrow path in the shop. My friend Sarah signed up for Annual Pickle Fest. The contests have to eat as much pickles in 10 minutes.

Matt Greenlee, right, dressed up for the occasion from Fear and Loathing and was listening to Dave's Matthew Band. He had a technique in eating his pickle by turning them clockwise while eating them at the same time.

Sarah aka Sarah the Killa, only ate four at the end. At the end of the contest, everyone was watching Matt eating is pickles.

At the end, Matt Sucked Down was the winner at the event.
