Open House

My good friends at Inhale Yoga Studio had an open house in January. For one day, all the teachers were teaching different classes by the hour. They had great classes for everyone and had an unofficial dog mascot stop by to say hello. Later in the evening, the room was packed with at least 30 people in a tiny room, but everyone managed to still work out and cooperate in a friendly manner. The things people could do with their bodies is amazing. Believe me, its beyond my capabilities.

When I photographing during yoga classes, I felt the room to rise in temperature. OH NO! I thought, my lenses are going to get foggy... QUICK let the lens adjust to the temperature. I felt like I was working out holding the camera and taking picture while I was dripping sweat from the hot classes, but I loved it. I would definitely do it again!

Amanda Sharrai from Adrian, Michigan instructs her class the Virabhadrasana (warrior I) pose at Inhale Yoga Studio in Athens, Ohio on Thursday, September 21, 2011. Sharrai has been teaching yoga since 2008 and recently started to work at studio. “ I like how people are open minded at a the studio. I enjoy seeing my students push themselves physically and see them rewarded when they get past the mental block,” she said.
