Sonya Paclob is a adjunct photography instructor at Tidewater Community College and a freelance visual journalist with the Daily Press. She brings her combined professional experience in cultural diversity, event photography and video skills to every story she covers locally in Hampton Roads, Virginia. She is also an assistant video producer for Green Thumb Studios.
She received the Professional Keynote Press Award for historical farmers market and showcased documentary on Ireland's food movement at Athens Film Festival. She is also a Chips Quinn Scholar and gained multimedia training for the newsrooms.
In 2016, she is currently on track to finish her associates in Multimedia and Graphic Design. She aspires to be a User Experience Designer and Multimedia Producer in marketing. Her mission is to continue to educate all ages and create meaningful stories.
In her free time, she is training for Triple Jog Dare Challenge with J&A Racing.
